Urusei Yatsura(The Return of Lum) remake animation

From October 13th, Urusei Yatsura(The Return of Lum) remake animation started.

The anime was made for Shogakkan’s 100th year anniversary.
Shogakkan is publishing company.

The episodes are chosen popular ones from original.
It will broadcast 4 seasons(12 months).

Original anime was finished broadcasting in 1986.
It’s been 36 years!!

The animation’s directors are Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahas, known as Jojo’s bizzare adventure 5th part one.

Character design is Naoyuki Asano, known as designer of Mr. Osomatsu and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!.

Animation company is david production, which company made Jojo’s bizzare adventure and Fire Force.

Protagonist’s voice actor is Hiroshi Kamiya,
Lum’s voice actress is Sumire Uesaka.

I actually watched the anime, protagonist’s voice was really similar to original one.
To be honest, I prefer original Lum’s voice to remake one.
